DEHA (Diethylhydroxylamine)
DEHA (diethylhydroxylamine) is a volatile oxygen scavenger that protects the boiler and travels with the steam to protect condensate lines too.
- Supplied by Zyax Chem, Mumbai
- Send your water or process details for a recommendation
- Bulk packs, delivered across India
- What it does
- Removes oxygen in boiler water and the steam-condensate system
- Used in
- Industrial boilers with long condensate networks
- Forms
- Liquid
- How it is applied
- Dosed continuously into the feed water
What is DEHA (Diethylhydroxylamine)?
Oxygen scavengers remove the dissolved oxygen left after the deaerator; oxygen in hot boiler water causes pitting corrosion of tubes, drums and feed lines.
DEHA is volatile, so part of it leaves with the steam and scavenges oxygen in the condensate system as well, where oxygen ingress causes corrosion of return lines.
Where DEHA is used
- Boilers with extensive condensate return
- Plants with condensate line corrosion
- Medium and high pressure boilers
How to use DEHA
- Dose into the feed water after the deaerator.
- Monitor residual DEHA and condensate iron.
- Adjust with load.

Frequently asked questions
Why is DEHA used in condensate systems?
Because it is volatile, it travels with the steam and scavenges oxygen in the condensate lines, reducing corrosion there.
Do you publish prices for DEHA (Diethylhydroxylamine)?
Prices depend on the grade, pack size and quantity, so we quote on request. Send your requirement on WhatsApp at +91 98333 22685 or through the form on this page.
