What is Carbohydrazide Oxygen Scavenger?
Oxygen scavengers remove the dissolved oxygen left after the deaerator; oxygen in hot boiler water causes pitting corrosion of tubes, drums and feed lines.
Carbohydrazide reacts with oxygen and also helps form a protective magnetite layer on boiler steel. Because it is volatile, it also offers some protection in the steam and condensate system.

How to use carbohydrazide
- Dose continuously into the feed water after the deaerator.
